Our kitchen is the hub of our home, where everybody gathers together, either with a tool in hand or a coffee or rinsing a cup, or peeking in a pot, or leaning on the table. Everything is stacked on open shelving for anyone to see and take what he/she needs. I believe firmly “out of sight, out of use”. It is by no means big or fancy or luxurious perfect, but it is busy and I love it.

  2. Since I’m here for the summer, I thought I’d have a poke around in the kitchen to see what we might be having for dinner tonight. Actually you said you were going to have a coffee and then I never heard another word, so I thought I’d just park myself here at this lovely scrubbed kitchen table and enjoy this wonderful, warm, creative haven while I wait to see how you’re getting on with that you-know-what.

  6. I love your kitchen………I like how everything is so assessable! I might be stealing some of your ideas. I’ve often wondered how to store AND display my cookie cutters for instance 😉

  7. What a gorgeous kitchen make-over. You are so organized. I’m envious that you’re able to do that. Guess I’ve got a lot to learn and I should scroll back up and take some notes.
