Spiere, the tortoise and his family came to say hello… The coastline at Hermanus and Onrus in the Cape, South Africa. Stellenbosch, Spier, Vredenheim, sStellenzicht in the Cape South Africa. The western Cape is as beautiful as ever! Today, a year ago we lost our Lindiwe, and it still hurts so much. We miss her everyday and see her all over the house and garden and on car trips and horse trips. She is still with us in our thoughts and love and we won’t ever forget. On our dear dear, longtime friends’ farm in Bloemfontein. A beautiful garden overflowing with roses, as is Bloemfontein’s trademark. And of course a “braai”(barbecue) as is South Africa’s trademark. We are enjoying every minute!! Thank you Africa! We love you. Elephants, lions, and other African wildlife filled our day before we ended with a fire and typical south African dinner. Can you hear my sigh of happiness? 🦁😁 We already saw 4 of the big 5, along with nany other animals. For security and safety reasons I can’t show all the animals. This child of Africa that I am, is touching base with her roots and we are enjoying every minute. Arrived at beautiful @nedilelodge in Welgevonden wild reserve in SA for a safari. Views from lunch on the terrace.
