I thought eating would be over now after the indulgence of the holidays. But hunger still shows up. And the colder the days, the more we turn to soups and stews. Boeuf bourguignon is just one of those old classics that never disappoint.

I only got your email today hence no reply. I had a fabulous holiday in Hermanus and only came back late last night. The beef looks scrumptious! I’m afraid we had so much red meat this holiday that we are on fish and salads for at least a month!
